Despite a sequel a year later and this revival, the heroic Sparkster just hasn't managed to find his footing with gaming audiences. 1993's Rocket Knight Adventures is hailed as a marvel of platform gaming even by today's standards. Konami's Rocket Knight might be one of the most tragic cases of a beloved franchise that couldn't find its footing.
